Are there any ZZ forums on the net other than the official one? I'm not to
keen on paying $40 a year just for that.

I didn't know that the official forum on their web site costs money
now, but there's the ZZ Top mailing lizzt run by Peter Zurich on
www.lowpft.com. Or do you mean that one?

Anyhow, there's this usenet group and e.g. also a Myspace ZZ Top
group, but it's not very active.
